Charitable Donations [
We currently do not have any items available for auction, but don't let that keep you from giving to a great cause! The Browncoats of NYC actively participate in a number of charities. A few you might consider are Equality Now, Heifer, or our very own Lisa's Lisa Walks.
 
Maybe you have an old coat you don't use any more. A pair of shoes that are last year's fashion. Some canned food you aren't quite sure why you purchased. Well, folks, that's even better. You don't need to spend a dime!
 
Towns across the 'verse are having food and clothing drives for the holidays. NYC in particular has a massive coat drive.
 
The truth is, though, that people aren't just hungry and cold now. Even the New Year is only the very beginning of a long, cold, and for many people dangerous time of year.
 
So, if your Aunt Petunia sends you yet another sweater you just won't wear, take a photo wearing it, send it to her with a thank you letter, then bring it down to your local donation center!
 
It doesn't take much effort, it doesn't need to cost you a dime, and even the slightest contribution could change a person's life!
